Editing your site

Every site starts as a real, editable document. Every starting point can become something of your own.

01

Start your site

Open your workspace and create a website. Give it a name and start from a clean first page, or describe your business to get a first draft. Then open it in the editor. Starter text and example email addresses are placeholders to replace.

02

Make the content yours

Select a section on the canvas to edit its heading, text, button, link and image. Add hero, text, features, gallery, call-to-action, contact and footer sections, duplicate or remove them, and drag to reorder. Use Page settings to edit a page’s name, path and search details.

03

Find your visual style

Open Theme to set background, text and accent colours and a font family for the whole site. Preview at desktop, tablet and mobile widths, and use undo or redo (Ctrl/⌘ Z, Ctrl/⌘ Shift Z) whenever you want to revisit an edit.

Changes save automatically shortly after you make them. If you go offline, autosave resumes when you reconnect.
