What is Frostpage?
Frostpage hosts your website and gives you everything to build and run it: Frostpage AI, a visual editor, complete templates, forms, a blog, search tools and, on the Store and Business plans, a complete online store. There is nothing to install, rent, update or patch.
How is it different from WordPress hosting?
With classic hosting you rent a server, install WordPress, choose a theme and plugins (WooCommerce for a store) and keep all of them updated and backed up. With Frostpage, hosting, HTTPS, backups, security updates and the store are one product we run for you, and you build in the editor or with Frostpage AI. In exchange you cannot install plugins or edit the code.
Can I move my WordPress site to Frostpage?
Yes. Move from WordPress, in the dashboard, starts from your website’s address and copies your pages in their design, blog posts, images, menus, search titles, simple contact forms and WooCommerce products into a new site, with redirects from your old addresses. For drafts, menus, stock, coupons and shipping, add an Application Password, read-only WooCommerce keys or the WordPress export file. Plugins, theme code, customer accounts, past orders and payment settings do not move; the report lists everything left out. Afterwards, ask Frostpage AI to adjust anything, from the design of a page to products and shipping. Then point your domain to Frostpage when domain connections open.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. Describe what you want to Frostpage AI in your own words, or click any text on the page to change it. We take care of hosting, HTTPS, updates and backups.
How does Frostpage AI work?
It is one assistant for your website and your store. It also works only on the site you have open, follows your team roles, and asks which one you mean when a request could fit several sites or products.
Can I sell online?
Yes, on the Store and Business plans: products with variants and stock, a cart and checkout on your own website, shipping, taxes, invoices, returns, discounts, gift cards, reviews and email campaigns. Payments go straight to you: offline payments work today, and card payments use your own provider account, in test mode until each provider’s live verification is complete. Free and Site are for presentation websites.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on every plan, Free included: one domain per website, with your email records kept. Domain connections are opening soon; until then every site is live on its own secure Frostpage address.
What does it cost?
Free costs nothing, with one presentation website and a small “Made with Frostpage” badge. Site is €4 a month for a presentation website with Frostpage AI and no badge, Store €19 for an online store, Business €99 for several stores with the API, automations and priority support.
